If you're anything like me you spent the weekend obsessing over Meghan, Harry, and the royal wedding. The brand new Duke and Duchess of Sussex completely stole my heart with their picture perfect day! That said, I've loved Meghan Markle for years! She is an incredible woman and not to mention absolutely stunning.
I am so inspired by her relaxed and natural style, so I decided to do my own version of her gorgeous, natural, glowy make up look. Keep reading to see the products I used to create my own version of her classic look.
With summer essentially already here in Houston I've been loving finding ways to embrace a more natural look while amping up the glow-factor. Meghan's style is such a perfect embodiment of that. I'm sure that I am going to continue creating versions of this look all summer long.
For this look, I started attempting to build the glow right from the beginning. I used a newer product by Loreal, the Glotion. This product is described as a glow enhancer that instantly hydrates and luminizes. I have the Loreal Glotion in the shade light and I absolutely love the light tint and glow that this product gives. Next, I the pulled out an older foundation that I've always had mixed feelings about, the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. It's a medium to full coverage foundation with a radiant finish. I followed that up with the Glossier Stretch Concealer. This concealer is incredibly hydrating and leaves an extremely glossy finish on the skin. Because of this, it definitely needs to be set (even when you're going to glow!). I used the Glossier Wowder to set the areas where I used concealer.
I kept my bronzer more cool toned and used the Kevyn Aucoin Sulpting Contour Powder to bring some definition to my cheeks. Meghan tends to have a gorgeous pink cheek, so I used the Covergirl Tru Blend blush in Medium Rose to bring that pop of color to my cheeks. And of course this look wouldn't be complete without a highlighter. I topped my cheeks with Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in Opal.
For the eyes I kept it simple and again more cool toned using the Urban Decay Naked2 palette. I typically don't use eye liner these days, but Meghan tends to have a deeper, smokier look on her eyes so I lightly lined my upper lid then smudged it out. I popped the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara on my eyes and Glossier Boy Brow on my brows to finish everything off.
Last but not least I popped a MAC LustreLipstick in Giddy on my lips and amped up the shine with my Lancome Juicy Shaker in Energy Peach. I went a little brighter than Meghan typically does- but I've been really enjoying the pop of color this spring!
And that's my version of Meghan Markle's gorgeous natural look. I can't wait to continue wearing versions of this all summer long!
